Wilderness Pack Walks

Single Pack walk

We pick up and drop off your pet and take them on adventure runs along the beautiful Nova Scotia coastline. We are running the crew from Mo-Fr, in almost all conditions. Groups are well balanced.
On-boarding for off leash pack walks depends on dog and breed but general lead time 14 days, until they are fully off leash!
10-Pack

DAY Pass

We will pick up and drop off your pet, and bring them to our 4PAWSHFX facility, located on 3 acres of wooded land on beautiful Moody Lake. Your dog is supervised during outdoor play in well selected groups, and encouraged to participate in a variety of activities and games that promote exercise and good behaviour. Pick up and drop off at your home occurs between 7-8 am and 5-7 pm.
10-Pack
$ 500
We pick up and drop off your pet and bring them to our 4PAWSHFX facility. We offer daycare from Mo-Fr. You can book your dog as per your schedule, as frequently as you like, until the 10-pack is depleted (max 6 month). 10-packs renew automatically, unless cancelled!
Training Sessions

Puppy basic obedience training age 3 months and up
$ 575
At 4PAWSHFX we believe that puppies benefit most from 1 on 1 private training. With this program, your puppy will be the main focus! Your puppy will learn the basic commands such as: Sit, Down, Come, NO, as well as Loose Leash Walking, Introduction To Recall, Holding eye contact (5,10,15 sec), Basic Training Theory, Gaining Confidence and building trust!
Course runs 1 session /week for 5 weeks
4PAWSHFX "Shaping Behaviour" Sessions

As a former K-9 handler and trainer of CWD’s (Contract working Dogs) I understand that there can be communication barriers between the handler (owner) and their pet. My Obedience & Shaping behaviour courses are customizable and will be tailored to your individual challenges from both a behaviour and obedience perspective. I pride myself on being a proven, results driven K9 trainer. At 4PAWSHFX we can help you to achieve a better understanding of your pet! We train the owners as well as the pet.
Board & Train
$375 per day
As a former K9 handler and trainer I understand that there can be communication barriers between the handler (owner) and their pet.
Board & Train is meant for those scenarios where you are just not equipped to correct certain behaviours yourself like aggression towards dogs, showing aggression towards people, or have already attacked someone. From my experience these pets need to get out of the environment they're in and need a complete reset! This service is by appointment only!
Home Boarding
Your pet's home away from home!
Home Boarding Mo-Wed
$ 65/day
As with all of our services we pick up and drop off your pet.. All home boarders go on daily pack walks and groups again are very carefully put together, so that your pet gets the most enjoyment out of their stay with us. Our facility is located on a peninsula lot surrounded by water and the dogs roam free under supervision. Dogs are encourage to sleep in the open concept room with couches & cozy coves, however kennels are provided when appropriate or necessary.
Home Boarding Thurs- SUN
$ 80/day
We provide the same great care for your pet on weekends as we offer during the week. We head out on wilderness pack walks with our weekend boarders.. After adventures in the woods, we head back to our facility, where your pet can relax in open concept indoor play area.
Home Boarding Holidays
$ 100/day
You have plans on a holiday? We have you covered! We offer boarding for most holidays. We encourage you to book early for holiday stay requests, as we fill up fast and only offer a limited amount of space during holidays.
***Please note, for home boarding pick up and drop off is always scheduled for 7-9am; if you require a later drop off time then the pet will be included in the subsequent day's pack walk and a additional fee will be charged! Clients which have more then one pet receive a 20% off for 2nd dog and 35% off for 3rd pet, all pets must come from the same household!***
