How does the on-boarding process work?

New dogs go through an on-boarding period of approximately 14 days before they are fully off-leash with the pack. During this time we assess your dog's temperament, recall, and social behaviour to ensure safe, balanced group dynamics.

How many dogs are in each walk group?

We keep groups to a maximum of 6 dogs per walk to ensure every dog gets proper attention and the group stays manageable on the trail.

Do you offer pick-up and drop-off?

Yes — pick-up and drop-off is included with every pack walk. We'll coordinate a convenient window with you when you book.

Question 4

What age can my puppy start training?

Our Puppy Basic Obedience course is open to dogs 3 months and older. Early training builds a strong foundation — the sooner you start, the better.

Question 5

What does the Puppy Basic Obedience course cover?

The 5-week, 1-on-1 course covers Sit, Down, Come, NO, Loose Leash Walking, Introduction to Recall, and Holding Eye Contact. We also cover Basic Training Theory, Gaining Confidence, and building trust between you and your dog.

What is Board & Train and who is it for?

Board & Train is for dogs with serious behaviour challenges — such as aggression toward other dogs or people — where a complete reset away from their home environment is needed. It is by appointment only.

What dog food do you carry?

We carry Inukshuk Professional Dog Food — specifically the Marine 25 formula. It's a premium, performance-focused kibble made with 100% ocean-sourced animal proteins (salmon, herring, and whitefish). No chicken, corn, wheat, or soy.

Where are you located?

We are based in Williamswood, Nova Scotia, Canada. Pick-up and drop-off is available for most services.
