Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the services offered by 4PAWSHFX ("we", "us", or "our"), operated by 4PAWSHFX, Williamswood, Nova Scotia, Canada. By booking a service, making a purchase, or using our website at 4pawshfx.ca, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Services

4PAWSHFX offers the following services in the Halifax Regional Municipality and surrounding Nova Scotia areas:

• Wilderness pack walks (single sessions and 10-packs)
• Dog training sessions (puppy obedience, shaping behaviour, board & train)
• Home boarding
• Digital training guide downloads
• Dog food and supplies (Inukshuk Marine 25)

All services are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.

2. Bookings and Payment

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable Nova Scotia HST (14%). Payment is due at the time of booking or purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment via GoDaddy Payments (credit/debit card).

Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of full payment. We reserve the right to adjust pricing with reasonable notice.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

Pack walks and training sessions: Cancellations made with at least 24 hours' notice will receive a full credit toward a future session. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, or no-shows, forfeit the session fee.

Board & train and home boarding: Cancellations made 72 hours or more before the start date will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 72 hours of the start date are non-refundable.

Digital training guides: All digital product sales are final. Due to the nature of downloadable content, refunds are not available once a guide has been accessed or downloaded.

Physical products (dog food): Unopened products in original condition may be returned within 7 days of purchase for a full refund, excluding shipping costs. Contact us at (902) 707-5720 to arrange a return.

4. Health and Safety Requirements

All dogs participating in pack walks, training sessions, or boarding must:

• Be up to date on core vaccinations (rabies, distemper, parvovirus)
• Be free of contagious illness or parasites
• Be licensed as required by local municipal bylaws

We reserve the right to refuse or remove any dog that poses a safety risk to other dogs, people, or our staff. No refund will be issued in such cases.

By booking a service, you confirm that your dog meets these requirements and that you have disclosed any known behavioural concerns, medical conditions, or history of aggression.

5. Liability and Risk

Dog handling and outdoor activities carry inherent risks. By using our services, you acknowledge and accept these risks. 4PAWSHFX will take all reasonable precautions for the safety of your dog, but we are not liable for injuries, illness, or death that occur despite reasonable care.

You are responsible for any damage or injury caused by your dog to other animals, people, or property. We strongly recommend that all clients carry pet liability insurance.

In the event of a medical emergency, we will seek veterinary care for your dog at your expense. We will make every effort to contact you first, but may act without prior authorization if we believe immediate care is necessary.

6. Digital Products

Our digital training guides are for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, or share the content of any guide without our express written permission. All guides are protected by copyright.

Download links are provided after purchase and are valid for a reasonable period. If you experience technical issues accessing your download, contact us and we will assist you.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on 4pawshfx.ca — including text, images, logos, training guides, and methodologies — is the property of 4PAWSHFX and is protected by applicable Canadian copyright and intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nova Scotia.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The current version will always be posted at 4pawshfx.ca/terms with the date of last revision. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
